The following lists the UA and Liberty catalogues from c. 1972 to 1980.
This includes Blue Note recordings with LA / LT catalogue numbers when the BLP prefix was abandoned after the sale of the label to Liberty / United Artists.
As the Blue Note catalogue now jostled for position with United Artist, UA Latino,. Grateful Dead records, catalogue numbers were no longer sequential (a scheme that continues with Universal Music in the present.)
The prefix denoted the label (United Artists UA, Blue Note BN etc), the LA section denoted an LP, with the suffix representing the price band. Double albums were suffixed by a 2.
